After the outrageous justice request by the public for George Floyd, all four police officers were arrested and taken into police custody. But on the 4th of June, 2020 the other three ex officers J. Alexander Kueng, Tou Thao, and Thomas Lane were given a bail of 1 million US dollars under particular provisions. Their charge was witnessing their fellow police officer engaging in a second-degree murder . The conditions under which they were given this bail is not to contact anybody in George Floyd’s family and never working in the law enforcement institution.
For Derek Chauvin, he was previously charged with a second-degree murder but after investigation of the case, Derek Chauvin’s cases were changed to a second-degree murder which means he will be serving in prison but the others would be granted out, if they pay the bail upfront.
A lot of big celebrities in the US attended George Floyd’s burial including Kevin Hart, T.I, Tiffany Haddish, Ludacris and many more.
The autopsy of George Floyd’s death showed that he tested positive for the COVID-19 but thta wasn’t what killed him. He was rather killed by homicide.
